After reading the article from Bleacher Report ‘What Chicago Blackhawks Should Do to Avoid a Post-Olympics Hangover’ by Steve Silverman, I have to agree with his points. The Blackhawks have been a very consistent team ever since the coming of Toews and Kane, and despite having some shaky moments and even long stretches, they always found a way out of those funks while managing to make the playoffs each year since then. Coach Quenneville understands his players better than anyone else, and he knows that once the Olympic break is over, his team will put their foot back on the pedal and keep moving forward. 2 Stanley Cups in four years ain’t too shabby, right?
